Interobserver Agreement in the Diagnosis of Parkinson Disease with Cardiac 123I-Metaiodobenzylguanidine Scintigraphy

The aim of this study was to analyze the interobserver agreement visual and quantitative assessment cardiac 123I-metaiodobenzylguanidine scintigraphy. Methods: Planar images were acquired using a low-energy collimator. heart-to-mediastinum (HM) ratio adjusted for use collimator, published formula. Interpretation undertaken both visually after addition HM ratios. Image findings classified as normal, abnormal, or borderline. Results: cohort consisted 10 patients. On interpretation only, there strong on scan (κ = 0.82, P < 0.01). Adjusted ratios led significant increase in mean (1.79 vs. 1.36, 0.02) and, when utilized reporting, resulted perfect 1.0, Conclusion: quantified collimator improves alone allowed excellent agreement.
